Crown Chakra Balance

Influencing your head, this chakra open upward, it deeply connects within your brain to the pineal gland, this is an important key to your biological clock.

Your pineal gland & your private parts work closely together to regulate sexual growth at puberty.

Your pineal gland produces melatonin, a hormone that regulates the light reactive photoreceptors in your retina.

Continuous exposure to light decreases the production of melatonin & increased productions at night can calm you down, because it’s dark.

During a womans’ period peaks in melatonin occur that are stimulated by light levels & particular wavelengths of light, your pineal gland produces high levels of another hormone – serotonin, urging you to do some form of activity; these two hormones work in a continuous daily cycle, serotonin is thought to have an important influence on your emotional state – high levels of this hormone are thought to improve your mood.

Various other hormones that are released by your pineal gland, including pinoline, have the same effect as LSD, that can produce hallucinations & heightened state of awareness.

Your pineal gland has a complex biological link with your adrenal glands, these are responsible for the production of adrenaline – the flight or fight hormone.

The link it thought to influence your stress levels, through your kidneys & gut, at your solar plexus & sacral chakras.

Conclusion

Through your pineal gland your crown chakra is biologically linked to your entire endocrine system & the rhythm of sleeping & waking.

SAD – Seasonal Affective Disorder is a form of depression showing unnatural cycles of sleep – a natural cycle of sleep is, to sleep at dusk & wake at dawn.

SAD is caused by an imbalance of your melatonin/serotonin cycle as a result of the artificial street lighting, sleeping with the curtains closed & night work, this can be improved by using a special light that mimics natural daylight.

Research continues to throw light upon the functions of the pineal gland, this backs up chakra wisdom teachings at the same time.

Melatonin production reaches its peak around 3am & according to biologists, your crown chakra is at its most respective to meditation at that time.

Crystals to Activate The Crown Chakra

The two main crystals that are used to energise the crown chakra are blue sapphire & celestite.

Celestite

Raw Celestite

Celestite is a pale blue translucent crystal that is often called the ‘stone of heaven’; it works at a highly refined rate of vibration.

It helps reduce stress in the physical body by helping relaxation into the realms of Divine Light; it also works through other chakras beyond the traditional seven to alter the physical rate of vibration & end in an ‘upgrading’ of the web of life.

Celestite can be held during meditation, or placed on an altar to focus the pure aqua ray of light into the earth.

Blue Sapphire

You can get sapphires in many different colours.

Use blue sapphire to energise the crown chakra.

It will open you up to higher spiritual realms by calming your physical body, it brings deep serenity & wisdom; it should be placed on the solar plexus, or held within the aura at a comfortable distance.

It regulates the endocrine system energetically & is great if you are going through a stressful time.

It gives its energies freely to energise all the higher chakras.

About Crystal Charged

My name is Chez, I am a hereditary witch who is addicted to crystals. I am a wife and mum of 2 children and 2 rescue Staffies & I use crystals to give my work an extra boost, as well as helping friends & family.

I was looking for an alternative to conventional medicine to relieve the pain of MS & epilepsy & a friend suggested I look into using crystals, so I did, & as they say the rest is history. I have made healing pouches for my Mum, her husband, my husband & daughter.

I decided to write a blog to share my love of crystals with others, pass on the wonderful benefits they can bring & some of the things you can use them for.

The information in this blog in no way replaces professional medical help.

“For serenity, it is best to use a combination of crystals in your environment and carry crystals with you.”
